Victor Greco

Victor Greco joined O'Dwyer & Bernstien in 1986 and was elevated to Partner in 2000. A Senior Trial Lawyer, skilled negotiator and civil rights advocate, he has won jury verdicts and settlements totaling tens of millions of dollars on behalf of his personal injury clients, many of whom were seriously injured or killed as a result of construction site accidents, police brutality, car and bus accidents, airplane accidents or product liability accidents.

Victor GrecoMr. Greco knows first-hand the techniques and strategies insurance companies use to attempt to deny the money personal injury victims are entitled to and uses his experience to insure that his clients receive maximum compensation. Mr. Greco's successes have been published in the New York VerdictSearch and the New York Law Journal.

In 2011 Mr. Greco was named as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in the New York metropolitan area by The National Trial Lawyers. Also, in 2012, 2011, 2010 and 2007 Mr. Greco was recognized by his peers as a New York Super Lawyer in the field of Plaintiffs' Personal Injury Law, an honor bestowed upon the top 5 percent of New York metropolitan area attorneys in his practice area. As a result of the numerous large awards he was won for his clients, Mr. Greco holds the distinction of being invited into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Membership in this group is limited to those attorneys who have demonstrated exceptional skill, experience and excellence in advocacy and have obtained judgments and settlements for their clients in excess of $1 million.

Mr. Greco's long history of public service includes a year and a half as a VISTA volunteer where he organized communities in the barrios of South Texas. Before joining O'Dwyer & Bernstien, Mr. Greco worked in the public sector fighting for the rights of crime victims and assisting victims of domestic violence in New York City neighborhoods and performed valuable work for the Legal Aid Society and the New York City Commission on Human Rights. He has volunteered for various non-profit organizations including, among others, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Mr. Greco is a member of the inaugural class of CUNY Law at Queens College, the first law school dedicated to the service of Public Interest Law. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and has taught trial practice to law students throughout New York City.
