Zachary R. Harkin

Zachary R. Harkin is an Associate in the Firm's Labor and Employee Benefits practice.
Mr. Harkin, a 2009 law school graduate, commenced work for the Firm as a law clerk as he pursued his Juris Doctor with a concentration in labor law and employee benefits. Mr. Harkin assists labor organizations and multiemployer benefit plans with a full-range of public and private labor and employee benefit matters, including labor disputes, employee grievances, contractual arbitrations, National Labor Relations Board and Public Employment Relations Board proceedings, internal union disputes and compliance issues, multiemployer benefit plan compliance issues and litigation in state and federal courts.
Mr. Harkin received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude and with department honors, from the State University of New York, College at Oneonta, and his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law. At Hofstra University School of Law, he concentrated his studies on labor and employment law, including an independent study on the viability of alternate methods to collecting delinquent contributions owed to multiemployer ERISA benefit funds.
Mr. Harkin is a member of the American Bar Association and New York City Bar Association.
