Gary Rothman has been with the firm for 9 years. He is licensed to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey. He is also admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court and the Federal Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and Districts of New Jersey and Connecticut, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Mr. Rothman is a member of the New York County Lawyers Association, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and has been a guest lecturer at the Suffolk County Academy of Law. He has extensive experience in all aspects of Labor and Employment Law for both labor and management clients. He has represented and counseled private and public sector clients in all matters of union organizing contract administration, negotiations, arbitration, employment practices and wage and hour matters. Mr. Rothman has represented clients in the defense of discrimination claims at the EEOC, the various state human rights agencies and in State and Federal Court litigation. Mr. Rothman is also a former legislative counsel for the New York City Council, including its committees on Labor, Governmental Operations, Consumer Affairs and General Welfare.
